Facilities

At Dormy House

Farmhouse chic abounds at this country house hotel, where a touch of retro glamour combines effortlessly with luxurious country living. Dog-friendly rooms include king-size beds, Nespresso machine, an in-room tablet, WiFi, super-soft bathrobes and Temple Spa products.

Pawfect slumbers

Four-pawed pals have the choice of a Comfy room or a Courtyard suite.

Dog-friendly Comfy rooms are located in the Danish Court by the main farmhouse, and have access to the courtyard. Beautifully accented with vibrant colours, they include retro-inspired seating areas, and en-suites with either baths or large walk-in showers.

Time to hunker down? Plump for a Courtyard suite. The new kids on the block, these spacious rooms, with comfy lounge areas, as well as outdoor seating in the courtyard for warmer days, are perfect to while away the time in. Scandinavian-inspired decor, with tasteful neutral palettes, results in a relaxing, welcoming den to delight discerning guests and their pups.

Fido will find a bed, bowl and treats waiting for him on arrival.

Human and hound abound

With over 400 acres of Farncombe Estate for you and your dog to explore, take the nature trail and let your dog sniff out the route.

Relax and revive

The magnificent, award-winning spa is a must-see. It includes a 16m infinity pool, outdoor hot tub, and Scandi-style thermal suite with a Finnish hot-juniper sauna, a gently warming Cotswolds’ lavender room, salt-steam room, thalassotherapy room and experience showers. There is also an invigorating ice fountain and Rasul Mud Room, alongside seven treatment rooms and a Nail Palour.

The Greenhouse, at the heart of the spa, has a enticing lounge, roaring fire and wonderful countryside views, and offers tranquillity and delicious food. A healthy menu is served alongside all sorts of treats for an indulgent retreat.

The spa, gym and pool are open from 7am to 9pm Monday to Saturday, and 8am to 7pm on Sundays.

Be active

Work out at your leisure in the gym, or arrange for a personal trainer to put you through your paces.

The charming and quintessentially-Cotswolds village of Broadway is not to be missed, and is walking distance away in the neighbouring valley. It is also well worth taking your pooch for a walk across The Estate to spectacular Broadway Tower, the Cotswolds’ highest castle. Combine with the additional walk to Broadway to tire out your pup, and then refuel at the dog-friendly bar at The Broadway before the return.

A spot more country? Just a short drive away are the famous Cotswolds towns of Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh.
