The brasserie at the Swan is light and bright, with eye-catching floor tiles adding a marvellously modern ambience as you sit down for dinner. The menu celebrates all things British and local, wherever possible. The trout is the house speciality; caught in Bibury from the river which flows through the gardens of the hotel, you can’t get more local than this!
While your dog can’t join you in the brasserie, you’re both welcome to hunker down into a cosy armchair in front of the open log fire in the warm and welcoming bar. Food is served all day – from coffee and cake in the morning, to a sumptuous sandwich over lunch, followed by a mouth-watering ribeye steak for dinner. Afternoon tea is also served here.
Room service is not currently offered at The Swan.
Enjoy the bar menus by the fire, or relax and enjoy a drink and a meal on the terrace should the weather permit.
Bibury is stunningly beautiful, and you’d be more than happy whiling away a day or two simply sitting in the courtyard, listing to the sounds of the Cotswolds’ countryside.
However, we’re sure fido will be nipping at his lead to explore further. There’s plenty of countryside to explore on foot (walking maps are available at reception), and four-legged friends are also welcome at the nearby Bibury Trout Farm.
If you’re looking to really stretch those legs and paws, use the hotel as a base to explore the wider area. Check-out our dog-friendly guides to the North and South Cotswolds, in Dog Digest, for some of the best pet-friendly to dos.
15 minutes away by car you’ll find the charming market town of Cirencester, and the adjoining Bathurst Estate – a great place for a run around for all.
