Facilities

At Tuddenham Mill

Minimalist decor with indulgent features makes this serene spot a place to clear the mind. Dog-friendly rooms include 6ft beds, Bose sound systems, an Apple TV with Netflix access, super-fast WiFi, Missoni dressing gowns, Espa toiletries, fresh orange juice, tea, coffee and homemade biscuits.

Pawfect slumbers

Dogs will be delighted with their choice of a Water Meadow Room or Mill Stream Room. Both room categories have the same spec, so pick your choice of view. All rooms have fabulous bi-fold doors that push back to open your room on to your own terrace – perfect to enjoy the country vista and clean air. Enjoy views across the mill stream from the comfort of your hideaway, with its namesake room. Or, for our choice, opt for the Water Meadow Room, with unspoilt views stretching to the horizon. Your dog will love gazing out over the water meadow, just at the end of the terrace.

Each of these dog-friendly rooms come with indulgent Philippe Stark baths and Matki showers, cosy feather duvets and fine linens.

Dogs will find some tasty treats and bowls waiting for them.

Human and hound abound

Relish being able to walk straight out to the water meadow beyond, perfect for paws to explore.

Relax and revive

Massages, manicures, pedicures, facials and body wraps can be indulged in at the hotel’s treatment room, open on Fridays between noon and 8pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 6pm. Blast away the last of that stress with a tension relief massage – bliss. Be sure to book in advance.

The extra bits

Borrow one of the Merida Crossway hybrid bikes and enjoy a relaxing bike ride through the countryside.

5 Paws Kelly, August 4, 2017.

We love bringing our dog to Tuddenham Mill. It’s perfect for a weekend away for us from London and our dog adores being able to explore from our room and go straight out to the meadow behind, there’s so much for him to explore. Definitely a 5 paws from us on dog-friendly, and we find the minimal but luxurious interiors very relaxing.

So close to central London great place to go for a quick weekend away. Then a great base to explore the Norfolk coastline or head into Cambridge. Lots of good dogs walks in the area too.
