At Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire

Enjoy extensive grounds, country pursuits, and the spa, with an indoor-to-outdoor pool. Dog-friendly rooms include satellite TV, CD and DVD players, WiFi, and spacious marble bathrooms with Asprey toiletries.

Pawfect slumbers

All rooms are dog-friendly and have room aplenty for fido. Every room is 45m². Mews Rooms overlook the stable blocks, while Garden Rooms have garden or central courtyard views. Bright and airy, Heritage Rooms offer views of the estate grounds, whilst if true relaxation is on the cards, try a Manor Room. With decor inspired by their country setting, all have inviting free-standing claw foot baths and separate showers, with Grand Manor Rooms also having views across the Estate.

One-bedroom Four Seasons Executive Suites, with courtyard and woodland views and generous seating areas, are available for stays with fido, as are the larger Daneshill Suites, which also come with a dining area, perfect for dinner à deux with your pup.

Fido will wag with delight to find a comfy dog bed, dog bowls, a packet of food and spring water on arrival. Treats, toys and further food options are available on request.

Human and hound abound

You are spoilt for choice on areas to explore in the Estate so pack your Dubarrys, or sturdy footwear, and head out with your pooch. Maps are provided with a variety of walks, from a gentle 2 mile loop to more ambitious trails, complete with pub suggestions for you both to refuel midway.

Relax and revive

Extensive spa facilities and treatments using Sodashi, Natura Bissé, Swiss Perfection and ESPA products are on offer. Swim from the spa’s indoor pool directly into the outdoor vitality pool. All spa facilities, including steam room and sauna are open daily from 6:30am-10pm, with light snacks available during the day at the spa’s cafe. The gym is open 24 hours a day.

The extra bits

While owners are asked not to leave dogs unattended, dog-sitting and walking can be arranged.

The Library, the hotel’s main lounge area, embraces its Georgian heritage and is filled with inviting sofas and comfy arm chairs, perfect to relax in and enjoy the view on to the grounds (though fido can’t join you here).

Children are welcomed and the ‘Kids For All Seasons programme’ is offered daily during the summer months, and at weekends throughout the year.

Numerous country activities are offered in the grounds, from riding to clay pigeon shooting, falconry and fishing, or for a gentler afternoon, try a game of croquet.

Where We Are

Should you wish to explore beyond the hotel’s grounds, the stunning South Downs National Park is just south of the hotel and offers expansive hills and woodlands to explore. Explore the South Downs Way, a 100 mile trail running from Winchester to East Sussex. One trail to follow, which provides a good walk for both you and fido, is the 4 miles around Steep village.

Alternatively, take a stroll around pretty village Odiham, just 3 miles form the hotel, and pop into Bel & The Dragon, an enticing gastropub where fido is more than welcome.

A spot of royal watching? Historic Windsor is just a 40 minute drive away. While visiting, take fido to explore the walk around Dorney Lake, where the rowing for the London 2012 Olympics took place, or alternatively enjoy the majestic Windsor Great Park together.

In fantastic grounds for your dog to explore. Nice bed, bowls etc left for the pups, and our dog loved meeting Oliver. Just a shame one of the communal lounges isn’t dog-friendly but still a great place to head.
