At Rothay Manor Hotel

Take the load off at this relaxing country house hotel, where creature comforts abound. Dog-friendly rooms include generous Yorkshire made beds with Egyptian cotton bed linen, feather pillows and duvets, fluffy towels, WiFi, SKY TV and Noble Isle toiletries.

Pawfect slumbers

Dogs can take their pick of several room and suite categories. All dog-friendly rooms have external access, or their own enclosed courtyard, perfect to stretch out ones’ paws post snooze.

Classic Rooms with their wood panelling and Farrow & Ball colours are delightful haven’s in which to switch off. Found on the ground floor they have super-king size beds. One of these rooms is quite close to the road, so if you are a light sleeper you may prefer to ask for the quieter of the two rooms on booking. There is also a dog-friendly Classic Plus Room, which offers more room for bigger paws.

Lucky pups may also take their pick from the Family Suites, Garden Suite or Junior Suite. The Junior Suite is tucked away in a cottage in the hotel’s grounds. It has its own parking space, shared garden and Nespresso. To really indulge, pick the charming Garden Suite. It comes with a wood burner, perfect to snuggle up by, as well as its very own hot tub to ease those aching muscles. Family Suites meanwhile are ideal for a family-friendly, pet-friendly trip to the Lakes, with their two bedrooms.
