At The St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel London

True Victorian splendour, dog-friendly rooms include contemporary artwork and design, a ‘technology pack’ enabling all forms of online connectivity, international cable and satellite TV channels, designer beds, slippers and robes.

Pawfect slumbers

With all rooms dog-friendly, there are plenty of options for you and fido to choose from. Rooms are situated in Barlow House, the hotel’s contemporary wing, and start with a Deluxe Queen at 25m². Selecting a Superior King will give you and fido some more room, and they come with luxurious bedding and light, welcoming decor. Premier King rooms feature understated design and calming interiors, and at 32m², are the most spacious of the modern bedrooms.

A stay in a Chambers Suite will allow you to soak up the true essence of the hotel. The suites have been restored to their former glory, capturing the historic charm of the main building. With high ceilings, they are decorated with exquisite period detail, and feature luxurious marble bathrooms and fireplaces.

A stay in a Chambers Suite also provides access to the Chambers Club; once the entrance hall of the Midland Grand hotel, this luxurious lounge now acts as a home-from-home for VIP visitors, both human and hound.

Starting at 48m², and all with their own individual character, if you feel like going ‘grand’, a suite would be the perfect choice. The Royal Suite is set over 248m² in the former Venetian Ballroom, and features three bedrooms, a study, its own kitchen space, a roll-top bath, and a spacious lounge area. You can even host your own dinner for up to 22 guests!

Fido will find a bowl in his room, perfect for din dins.

Human and hound abound

London is very dog-friendly, and you and fido will love the plethora of green spaces covering our capital. Grab your ‘it bag’ and fido’s smartest lead and head out together. See below for ideas.

The spa has been designed with Victorian luxury very much in mind, and lies amidst the great brick archways of the former steam kitchens. Expect a sauna, steam room, relaxation lounge and relaxation pool with hydro loungers. Try one of their Spa Journeys, uniquely designed around journeys to destinations, from Indonesia to an English Garden. Treatments are available from 9am to 9pm, with the relaxation pool open from 6am to 11pm.

The hotel also has a gym which is open 24 hours.

The extra bits

Should you be planning a night on the town and fido just wants to rest his furry head, dog-sitting (and dog-walking) can be arranged via the Concierge, but must be booked in advance to guarantee availability.

Food and Drink

Hotel restaurants

The hotel offers a variety of dining options.

The Booking Office Restaurant & Bar features a 29m² long bar, wrapped around the original Grade I listed ticket booth. Relax in the original station ticket hall while you enjoy some modern British cuisine. Continental breakfast can be enjoyed here.

Mi & Me can be found on the Upper Terrace of St Pancras, and your pup is welcome to join you here. The name refers to the milk and meat carriages that were first used by railways in the Victorian era. The focus here is, not surprisingly, on cheese and meat. There is a short la carte breakfast menu served until noon, with sandwiches and some hearty mains served all-day.

The Gilbert Scott is the hotel’s fine dining experience. Using the very best in seasonal produce, the seasonal and varied dishes are the creation of the team of two Michelin starred chef, Marcus Wareing. There’s even a three course Sunday roast on offer – you might need a long walk first!

Hotel bar and lounge

The Hansom Lounge fills the towering, iconic original station building. Your four-legged friend is welcome to join you here and light bites and drinks are served throughout the day, or enjoy afternoon tea from 1.30pm to 5pm.

Alternatively, try The Booking Office. Fido can’t join you here but should you get to give it a whirl, try one of the signature punches served from copper bowls or a Victorian-inspired cocktail.
